When will I be reminded that a certification is expiring?

WorkHub reminds you 30 days before a certification expires, again 7 days before, and once more when it has expired. Company admins get the same reminders.

Good to know

• Reminders go out once a day, so each one arrives on or shortly after the 30-day, 7-day and expiry dates. Each reminder is sent only once.
• You’ll see notifications such as “Your [name] expires in 7 days” or “Your [name] has expired”. Admins see “[person]’s [name] expires in …”.
• Reminders appear under the notification bell, and by email if you’ve turned on Email Notifications in your profile.
• These reminders follow the Project Updates notification setting. If that’s off, you won’t get them.
• Certifications without an Expires on date never send reminders.
• Updating the expiry date after renewing resets the reminders for the new date.
• If you add a certification that’s already within 30 days of expiring, or already expired, you’ll get the matching reminder at the next daily run.
• Reminders only go to active members.
