How do I bookmark a message or link in a channel?

Every channel has a bookmark bar under its name. Use Add bookmark to pin a link, or hover over a message and click the bookmark icon to pin that message.

Steps

To add a link: 1. Open the channel in Communication. 2. Click + Add bookmark under the channel name. 3. Enter a title and, optionally, a URL. 4. Click Save Bookmark.

To bookmark a message: 1. Hover over the message. 2. Click the Bookmark icon in the small menu that appears. It turns yellow when saved.

To remove a bookmark, hover over it in the bar and click the small x.

Good to know

• Channel bookmarks are shared: everyone in the channel sees the same bookmark bar.
• Clicking a bookmark with a web address opens it in a new tab.
• Direct messages and group chats don’t have a bookmark bar.
