How do I customize a form's fields, look and logic?
Open the form from the project’s “Forms” tab. In the form editor, add fields from the right-hand panel, select a field to edit its properties, and use Form Settings to set the logo, colors and theme.
Steps
- Open the project, click “Forms”, and click the form.
- To add a field, drag it from the right panel onto the form, or click it. Field types are Short Text, Long Text, Email, Number, Date, Dropdown, Checkbox and URL.
- Click a field on the form to open its properties:
- “Field Label” and “Helper Text / Description”
- “Required”
- “Dropdown Options”, one option per line (dropdowns only)
- To show or hide a field depending on another answer, use “Conditional Logic”: choose “Show this field” or “Hide this field”, pick the field under “If this field…”, choose an operator (Equals, Not Equals, Contains or Is Empty) and enter the value.
- Use the move up and move down arrows to reorder fields, and the delete button to remove one.
- Click “Save”, or press Ctrl+S (Cmd+S on Mac).
- Under “Form Settings”, set the “Logo URL”, “Logo Shape”, “Accent Color”, “Form Theme” (Dark or Light) and the page, card, text and input colors. You can also pick an “Email Signature” for confirmation emails.
- Click the pencil next to the form title to rename it.
Good to know
- Hidden conditional fields aren’t required and aren’t saved with the submission.
- The logo appears on the public form and in the confirmation emails.
- The “Active” button switches the form between Active and Inactive.
