Why can't I pay this invoice online?
Online payment only appears for invoices that have been sent and still have a balance, and only when the company accepts card payments.
Good to know
- “Paid in full” means there is nothing left to pay.
- “This invoice has been voided and is no longer payable.” means the company cancelled it.
- “This invoice isn’t open for online payment. Please contact us with any questions.” means the invoice isn’t in a payable state.
- A “How to pay” box instead of a card form means this company collects payment directly, for example by check or bank transfer. Follow those instructions.
- “Please contact … to arrange payment” means the company hasn’t set up payment instructions yet. Contact them directly.
- “Invoice not found” means the pay link is incomplete or no longer valid. Ask the company to send it again.
