How do I remove or disable a user?
In WorkHub you remove someone by disabling them in your company. They’re signed out of your company straight away and can’t get back in. Their past work stays where it is.
Steps
- Click Settings in the sidebar to open User Management.
- Find the person and click the ⋮ button on their row.
- In Manage User, under Account Status, click Disable User.
- Their status changes to Disabled.
To bring someone back, open the same menu and click Enable User.
Good to know
- There’s no “delete user” option. Disabling is how you remove access. The person’s tasks, comments, emails and time entries stay in WorkHub.
- Disabling only affects your company. If the person also belongs to another WorkHub company, they can still work there.
- You can’t disable yourself. You’ll see “Cannot change your own status”.
- Disabled users stay in the list. Filter by Disabled to find them.
- Disabling someone doesn’t remove them from projects or unassign their tasks. Reassign open work if needed.
