How do I make a task repeat?
Open the task, click Repeat (it shows “Does not repeat” by default), choose how often, and click Save. When you complete the task, WorkHub creates the next one automatically.
Steps
- Open the task.
- On the Overview tab, click Does not repeat under Repeat.
- Choose Daily, Weekly, Every 2 weeks, Monthly, Quarterly or Yearly.
- Optionally change Every (for example every 3 weeks, up to 52) and set an Until (optional) end date.
- Click Save. The label changes to show the schedule, for example “Every 3 weeks until 2026-12-31”.
- To stop repeating, open the same menu and choose Does not repeat.
Good to know
- The next occurrence is created only when the current one is marked Completed.
- The new task starts as Pending and keeps the same title, description, list, priority, time estimate, assignees and tags. Custom field values, comments and files aren’t copied.
- The next due date is counted from the current due date (or from today if there isn’t one), and is always after today. If the task has both a start date and a due date, the gap between them is kept.
- No more copies are created once the next due date would fall after the Until date.
- Assignees get a “Recurring task scheduled” notification with the new due date.
