Why can't I see a project?
You only see projects you are a member or the lead of (company admins see all of their company’s projects). Archived projects and projects from another company are hidden from the sidebar too.
Steps
- Check the company switcher at the top of the left sidebar. If you belong to more than one company, switch to the company that owns the project.
- Search for the project with the search bar at the top of the page (or Ctrl+K / Cmd+K). Archived projects still show up in search if you have access.
- If it still doesn’t appear, or you get Access denied, ask the project’s lead to add you through Manage Team.
Good to know
- “Project not found” means the link is wrong or the project belongs to a different company than the one you’re currently in.
- “Access denied” means the project exists but you aren’t a member, the lead or an admin.
- Being assigned to a task in a project doesn’t give you access to that project. You must also be a member.
- Your personal tasks live in a private project that is never listed under Projects.
