Can I move a task to another project?

No. A task stays in the project it was created in, and WorkHub can’t copy or duplicate tasks. You can move tasks between lists within the same project.

Steps

To move tasks to a different list in the same project: 1. Open the project and click List View. 2. Tick the tasks you want to move. 3. Click Move to list in the bar at the bottom and choose the list.

To “move” a task to another project: 1. Create a new task in the other project and copy over the title, description and other details. 2. Archive the original task, and add a comment pointing to the new one.

Good to know

• Comments, time logs, files and history stay with the original task. They can’t be transferred.
