How do I filter and sort tasks in a project?
Use the toolbar on the project’s List View tab. Pick a list chip, type in Filter tasks…, choose a Priority, and pick a Sort order.
Steps
- Open the project and click List View.
- In the Lists row, click a list chip to show only that list’s tasks, No List for tasks without a list, or All Lists for everything.
- Type in Filter tasks… to match task titles.
- Click Priority and choose All, Low, Normal, High or Urgent.
- Click Sort and choose Last Updated, Date Created, Name, Due Date, Priority or Status. Choose the same option again to reverse the order. You can also click a column header to sort by it.
- Active filters appear as chips under the toolbar. Click × on a chip to remove that filter, or Clear all to remove them all.
Good to know
- Tasks are shown in one table per status. Completed tasks are in their own table, and archived tasks are hidden behind Show Archived (n) at the bottom.
- Filter tasks… only matches task titles. To search descriptions or find tasks across all projects, use the search bar at the top of the page.
- There’s no assignee filter in List View. To see your own work, use Assigned to Me on your Dashboard.
- Filters aren’t saved. They reset when you reload the page.
